Freddy's Friday Night Film Series

Grab a blanket and settle in for Freddy’s Friday Night Film Series at Westin Hills Recreation Hall! Every first Friday of the month, we screen classic films on the big projector with free popcorn and drinks.

This month’s theme is 1950s sci-fi — two back-to-back creature features that are more fun than frightening. Joey, our resident film buff, curates each month’s lineup and introduces each film with behind-the-scenes trivia.

This month’s lineup:

• 7:00 PM — Doors open, popcorn and drinks
• 7:30 PM — Feature one (surprise reveal!)
• 9:15 PM — Short intermission
• 9:30 PM — Feature two

Bring your own blankets, pillows, or camp chairs for maximum comfort. The rec hall has folding chairs too, but the regulars know that the floor seating up front is where it’s at. Rated family-friendly — all ages welcome. The series runs the first Friday of every month, so mark your calendars and don’t fall asleep during the show.
